ABDUCTED

Cinemavixion Review

While the YouTube description for "Abducted" is a rather generic promotional statement for the channel 'Film&Clips', the external data reveals a 2018 crime thriller that, despite its low IMDb rating of 4.0, offers a high-stakes narrative. Directed by Prince Bagdasarian, the film plunges into the dark underbelly of the city when a military veteran, Dane Hunte, must confront his grief and take matters into his own hands after his young daughter, Eden, is kidnapped during a violent home invasion. With Detective Fini leading the official investigation, the film sets up a race against time, blending personal desperation with a gritty pursuit of justice. Starring Scout Taylor-Compton and Michael Urie, "Abducted" appears to be a tense, albeit perhaps flawed, exploration of parental love pushed to its absolute limits in the face of brutal crime.
