A TOWN CALLED PARABLE

Cinemavixion Review

Scott Hester's "A Town Called Parable" presents a stark, focused narrative centered on a pastor seeking retribution for his brother's death. Anchored by a compelling performance from Eric Roberts, the film delves into themes of vengeance and faith, exploring the moral complexities that arise when a man of God is driven by earthly desires. While the plot is direct, the film's strength lies in its atmosphere and the quiet intensity of its central performance. Roberts embodies the pastor's internal conflict with a gravitas that elevates the material. The supporting cast, including Rich Henrich and Lily Lei, provide solid grounding for the unfolding drama. This is a potent, character-driven piece that rewards patient viewing with its thoughtful exploration of a dark journey.
