A TASTE OF JUPITER

Cinemavixion Review

In the charming Italian-American enclave of Little Italy, "A Taste of Jupiter" offers a whimsical romantic tale woven around a rare celestial alignment. Director Derek Diorio masterfully brings together a tapestry of interconnected lives, each person grappling with their own stories of jealousy, love, and petty crime. The narrative cleverly incorporates a mysterious man in a white suit, a would-be gondolier, and even a duel, all set against the backdrop of Jupiter and Venus gracing the night sky. With a cast including Norman Mikeal Berketa, Pierre Brault, and Peter Michael Dillon, this 2005 film provides a unique blend of cosmic wonder and grounded human drama, proving that sometimes, the most extraordinary events unfold in the most ordinary of settings.
