A POISONOUS HUNT

Cinemavixion Review

This action-packed thriller plunges viewers into the dark underbelly of a drug empire. The narrative centers on Lin Feng, a determined narcotics cop whose pursuit of justice takes a deeply personal turn when he discovers his own sister, Lin Xue'er, is entangled with a lethal drug operation. The film skillfully navigates Lin Feng's race against time, pitting him against the formidable kingpin Zhou Hua and his ruthless henchman Lei Yang. Adding layers of complexity, the investigation is further complicated by the reappearance of Lin Feng's former love, Lei Beibei, whose connection to the case remains ominously unclear. As Lin Feng confronts the dangerous world of international drug trafficking, led by the shadowy figure Sunny, he must also grapple with the emotional turmoil of his fractured relationships. The story poses a compelling question: can Lin Feng maintain his resolve and bring the perpetrators to justice while confronting the ghosts of his past and the betrayal within his own family? It’s a tense battle of wits and will, where every decision carries the weight of life and death.
