A NOISE CALLED TRUTH

Cinemavixion Review

Daniel Holland's "A Noise Called Truth" offers a compelling narrative set against the backdrop of a global pandemic. The film follows Lita as she navigates a tumultuous semester, grappling with a campus shutdown, online learning, and the fallout from an altercation involving her boyfriend, Antonio, and their history professor. As external circumstances escalate, so do the personal struggles of the characters. Antonio's self-destructive path and Lita's persistent questions about the incident drive the plot towards a critical confrontation. The film culminates in a powerful final meeting where Lita, Antonio, and the professor are forced to confront their choices and uncover the essence of speaking one's truth. Starring Sydney Carvill, Eddie Navarro, and Nicholas Thurkettle, this drama explores themes of accountability, resilience, and self-discovery amidst unprecedented challenges.
