A LOVE TO REMEMBER

Cinemavixion Review

Aubrey Arnason's "A Love to Remember" offers a charming, albeit predictable, dive into the complexities of mistaken identity and budding romance. Rhiannon Fish delivers a commendable performance as Tenley, a horticulturist whose online dalliance takes an unexpected turn when she's mistaken for a wife. The narrative skillfully navigates Tenley's predicament as she maintains the charade, weaving in Jared's family and the ever-present, charismatic Everett, played with notable warmth. While the plot adheres closely to familiar romantic comedy tropes, the film succeeds through its earnest performances and a generally lighthearted tone. The 2021 Canadian production, recognized with two wins, provides a pleasant viewing experience, particularly for those who enjoy stories where a little white lie blossoms into something far more significant, exploring themes of courage and the unexpected paths love can take.
