A FERAL WORLD

Cinemavixion Review

David Liban's "A Feral World" presents a compelling, albeit bleak, vision of survival in a post-apocalyptic landscape. The film centers on an orphaned boy who forms an unlikely maternal bond with a woman searching for her abducted daughter. This nascent relationship becomes the emotional anchor as they navigate a world ravaged by conflict and desperation, uncovering clues that lead them toward a dangerous confrontation with a tyrannical figure holding the child captive. Filmed over an ambitious four-year period, the narrative gains a unique verisimilitude as the audience witnesses the characters' physical and emotional evolution, underscoring the "coming-of-age" aspect within this harsh setting. While the external data notes a 3.9/10 rating on IMDb, the film's commitment to its narrative and the extended production timeline suggest a dedication to crafting a significant, character-driven story that explores themes of loss, resilience, and the enduring power of human connection amidst profound adversity.
