A FAMILY TAKES REFUGE WITH AN ELDERLY WOMAN WHO TURNS OUT TO BE A TORTURER

Cinemavixion Review

This harrowing French thriller plunges viewers into a suffocating atmosphere of dread. The premise alone—a mother and daughter seeking sanctuary only to find themselves trapped in a different kind of prison—is immediately compelling. The narrative masterfully builds tension, transforming a supposed haven into a claustrophobic nightmare orchestrated by a chilling antagonist. The film excels in its psychological exploration, examining themes of abuse, survival, and the desperate measures one might take to escape a cycle of violence. While details on its release are scarce, the raw emotional power and unsettling portrayal of human cruelty make it a potent, albeit disturbing, watch that lingers long after the credits roll.
