A DOGGONE CHRISTMAS

Cinemavixion Review

This heartwarming family film, 'A Doggone Christmas,' directed by Jim Wynorski, offers a delightful blend of holiday cheer and adventure. Set against the backdrop of a ticking clock before Christmas, the narrative follows two brothers who stumble upon a telepathic Jack Russell Terrier escaping the clutches of the CIA. The film excels in showcasing the developing bond between the brothers and their extraordinary canine companion, a connection that becomes the driving force for their efforts to protect the dog from relentless government agents. While the plot leans into its fantastical premise with a telepathic dog, it grounds itself in relatable themes of family, cooperation, and the true spirit of the season. The performances, particularly from the young leads, anchor the story, making the quest to save their new friend a compelling and heartwarming journey. It's a charming tale that reminds us of the unexpected joys and bonds that can form, especially during the holidays.
