A DANGEROUS MAN

Cinemavixion Review

Keoni Waxman's "A Dangerous Man" plunges viewers into a gritty world of crime and injustice. The film centers on Shane Daniels, portrayed with stoic resolve, who emerges from a six-year prison sentence for a crime he never committed. His reentry into society is violently disrupted as he becomes entangled in a brutal street war between ruthless Chinese drug dealers and complicit law enforcement. Waxman masterfully crafts a narrative that explores themes of redemption and survival, as Shane navigates treacherous alliances and confronts the corruption that shattered his life. Steven Seagal's presence anchors the action, delivering the expected blend of martial arts prowess and grim determination. The film’s straightforward plot, combined with its relentless pacing, makes for an intense viewing experience, offering a compelling, albeit dark, look at the consequences of wrongful imprisonment and the fight for a second chance.
