A COLD DAY IN HELL

Cinemavixion Review

In "A Cold Day in Hell," director Don Michael Paul revisits the enduringly popular Tremors franchise, delivering a sequel that leans heavily into its established creature-feature formula. The narrative follows the stalwart Burt Gummer and his son Travis as they venture to the remote Canadian Arctic to combat a fresh onslaught of Graboids, all while Burt grapples with a life-threatening affliction. While the film may not break new ground, it offers a familiar yet satisfying blend of action, humor, and creature effects that fans have come to expect. The performances, particularly from the returning cast, anchor the outlandish premise, ensuring that the stakes, both personal and planetary, feel genuinely present. It's a solid entry for those seeking more subterranean thrills and a testament to the franchise's lasting appeal.
