Roger Corman's 1955 black comedy 'A Bucket of Blood' offers a darkly humorous take on the art world and the desperate pursuit of fame. Dick Miller stars as Walter Paisley, a struggling artist whose accidental creation – a plaster-covered dead cat – is mistaken for a brilliant sculpture. This initial success, however, only fuels Walter's ambition, leading him down a increasingly macabre path as he resorts to murder to create more "artistic" masterpieces.
