A BRILLIANT MONSTER

Cinemavixion Review

F.C. Rabbath's 'A Brilliant Monster' delves into the dark underbelly of creative inspiration, posing a chilling question: at what cost do our greatest ideas manifest? The film centers on Mitch Stockridge, a self-help author whose success is shadowed by a monstrous secret concerning the origin of his acclaimed work. Bill Kelly anchors the narrative with a performance that navigates the fine line between genial guru and something far more sinister. Though the external data notes a polarizing reception with a low IMDb score, it also highlights a surprising 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and even a couple of wins, suggesting a film that, despite its divisive nature, has struck a chord with some critics. This exploration of ambition and its potential to unleash inner demons makes 'A Brilliant Monster' a thought-provoking, albeit unsettling, watch for those intrigued by the darker facets of human nature and the creative process.
