30 AWKWARD DAYS WITH YOUR EX

Cinemavixion Review

In '30 Awkward Days with Your Ex,' director Reggie Gaskins delves into the complexities of post-breakup coexistence. The film chronicles a couple's decision to share living space for one final month after a tumultuous split. What ensues is a poignant exploration of unresolved emotions, unexpected encounters, and the often humorous, sometimes painful, journey toward closure. Gaskins, who also stars alongside Trisha Mann and Kendyl McCray, crafts a narrative that balances the awkwardness of proximity with the lingering tendrils of affection. The rom-com offers a refreshingly honest look at second chances and the delicate dance between letting go and holding on, proving to be both funny and unexpectedly tender.
