3 OF THE WORLD'S LARGEST ENGINEERING MEGA-PROJECTS

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into three monumental feats of modern engineering, offering a compelling glimpse into human ingenuity. The segment on Venice's MOSE project highlights the protracted and complex battle against the sea, a struggle that has spanned decades and billions of euros to protect a city steeped in history. The film then shifts to the impressive scale of maritime modification with the "Jumboisation" process, crucial for the booming cruise industry's demand for larger vessels. Finally, the awe-inspiring Antonov An-225, a Cold War-era marvel still operational, is showcased as the world's largest airplane, a testament to its enduring design and capability in undertaking challenging cargo missions and holding numerous air records. It's a fascinating look at projects that push the boundaries of what's possible.
