20 FUNERALS

Cinemavixion Review

Anghus Houvouras's 2004 crime thriller, "20 Funerals," presents a stark premise: four police officers, disillusioned by the persistent crime plaguing their city, decide to take justice into their own hands. Following the funeral of a fellow officer, they embark on a grim mission to eliminate criminals by 'burying' them, eschewing the conventional justice system for a more brutal, albeit effective, approach. Starring D.J. Naylor, Mark Mench, and Tyhm Kennedy, the film delves into the moral complexities faced by law enforcement when the system fails. While not a widely lauded blockbuster, "20 Funerals" offers a gritty exploration of vigilantism and the blurred lines of law and order, making it a compelling watch for those interested in the darker side of crime dramas.
