180 DAYS

Cinemavixion Review

In "180 Days," Chris Parx steps into the shoes of a vice principal at his former middle school, a premise ripe with potential for both humor and introspection. The narrative quickly establishes a compelling setup: Parx finds himself unexpectedly burdened with more responsibility than anticipated on his very first day. While the film, released in 2023, is directed by Joe Benedetto and features Conor Romero, Samantha Robinson, and Richard Kline, its true strength lies in its relatable exploration of navigating familiar yet challenging environments. The film delves into the complexities of returning to one's roots, particularly in an educational setting, offering a fresh perspective on the transition from student to authority figure. It's a character-driven piece that promises an engaging look at the pressures and unexpected turns within the school system.
