16 SUNRISES - AN ASTRONAUT'S FIRST MISSION TO SPACE - INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION - FULL DOCUMENTARY

Cinemavixion Review

Embarking on his inaugural voyage to the cosmos, French astronaut Thomas Pesquet spent six months aboard the International Space Station, orbiting approximately 450 kilometers above Earth. This documentary, '16 Sunrises', intimately chronicles his weightless journey alongside an international crew. Inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's 'The Little Prince', the mission, and by extension the film, aims to ignite the imaginations of young people. The narrative skillfully interweaves the practical realities of life in orbit with a contemplative, poetic sensibility. It also highlights the ISS as a testament to international collaboration, a semi-utopian endeavor built on shared contributions from nations across the globe.
