11 BLOCKS

Cinemavixion Review

In the gritty urban landscape of "11 Blocks," director Matthew Bennett and Sasha Moric deliver a raw, action-packed narrative centered on John 'Concrete' Hong's desperate fight for survival and love. The film plunges viewers into the treacherous streets of Union, a city suffocated by gang violence and corruption, where John's journey for work quickly escalates into a desperate race against time. Craig Henry anchors the film with a compelling performance as John, embodying the resilience required to navigate a world where every shadow conceals a threat. While the film's IMDb rating suggests a niche appeal, its straightforward, high-octane plot and dedicated performances offer an engaging, albeit grim, cinematic experience for fans of urban action thrillers.
