$100,000 FOR A KILLING

Cinemavixion Review

Giovanni Fago's '$100,000 for a Killing' plunges viewers into a gritty Western landscape where familial obligation clashes with the harsh realities of bounty hunting. Gianni Garko delivers a compelling performance as Johnny Forest, a man torn between his mother's final wish to bring his outlaw brother, Clint, to justice and the inherent dangers of his profession. The narrative skillfully weaves a tale of pursuit and reluctant alliance, as Clint, portrayed with a certain roguish charm by Claudio Camaso, finds himself relying on his brother while evading the menacing Jurago, a former partner seeking revenge. The film explores themes of loyalty, betrayal, and the blurred lines between right and wrong in a lawless frontier. Its compelling plot and strong performances make it a noteworthy entry in the Western genre, offering a tense and character-driven experience.
