100º BELOW ZERO

Cinemavixion Review

In '100° Below Zero,' director R.D. Braunstein crafts a chilling vision of a Europe plunged into an ice age by volcanic cataclysm. The narrative follows an American couple's desperate race against time to reunite with their children in a rapidly freezing Paris. Starring Jeff Fahey and Sara Malakul Lane, the film navigates the perils of a sunless, frozen continent, exploring themes of survival and familial bonds amidst an apocalyptic backdrop. While the premise offers a compelling disaster scenario, the execution aims for a tense, action-oriented survival thriller as the characters battle not only the elements but also the encroaching despair of a world turned to ice.
