1 WORLD 100 LONELY

Cinemavixion Review

Brian McGuire's "1 World 100 Lonely" (2015) offers a poignant, albeit somber, exploration of modern human connection, uniquely filtered through the lens of interpersonal technology. This first volume in a series, filmed across Los Angeles, London, and New Mexico, delves into the intricate and often painful landscape of romantic relationships. The ensemble cast, featuring performances by Lara Heller, Kendall Carroll, and Mark E. Fletcher, brings to life a spectrum of characters whose fractured lives are defined by an insatiable yearning for love. While the film's IMDb rating stands at a respectable 6.9/10, its true value lies in its unflinching portrayal of emotional vulnerability and the universal quest for belonging in an increasingly digitized world.
