1 MUST FALL

Cinemavixion Review

Antonio Pantoja's 1986 thriller, "1 Must Fall," plunges viewers into the gritty underbelly of Louisville, Kentucky. The narrative centers on Sarah, a single mother whose professional life takes a sharp, unjust turn when she and her friend Alton are fired by a dismissive boss. Their subsequent employment as a crime scene cleanup crew, tasked with sanitizing the grim realities of homicide and suicide, sets the stage for a chilling descent into danger. The film masterfully builds suspense as Sarah and Alton uncover a horrifying truth at their latest assignment: the perpetrator has not departed. Pantoja crafts a tense atmosphere, exploring themes of resilience and the unexpected perils that can arise from ordinary circumstances, offering a compelling, albeit dark, cinematic experience.
