Thorley Walters

Thorley Walters carved a memorable niche in British cinema as a peerless purveyor of bumbling authority figures and befuddled assistants. Transitioning from stage to screen, Walters became a celebrated character actor, particularly adept at comedic roles. He shone in the popular comedies of the Boulting Brothers and the St. Trinian's series, while also becoming a familiar face to horror afici... moreonados through his many contributions to Hammer and Amicus productions. His robust physique and distinct screen presence made him an ideal Dr. Watson in several cinematic interpretations of the iconic detective. less
