Mike Mazurki

Mike Mazurki carved a formidable niche in Hollywood as cinema's quintessential on-screen brute. His imposing physique and granite-like features made him a go-to for playing gangsters, thugs, and muscle-bound enforcers for over five decades. Despite his intimidating screen presence, Mazurki was known for his sharp intellect and wit off-screen. He left an indelible mark with memorable performan... moreces as the ex-con 'Moose Malloy' in the classic film noir *Murder, My Sweet* and as the grotesque 'Splitface' in *Dick Tracy*. Mazurki also demonstrated a surprising aptitude for deadpan comedy in films such as *It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World*, solidifying his status as a versatile character actor. less
