Marx Brothers

The Marx Brothers, a legendary comedy quartet, revolutionized cinematic humor with their anarchic wit and unforgettable characters. Groucho, with his cigar and rapid-fire insults, Chico, the piano-playing charmer, and Harpo, the silent, harp-strumming force of nature, formed a comedic trinity that redefined screen absurdity. Their iconic films, including 'Duck Soup,' 'A Night at the... more Opera,' and 'A Day at the Races,' showcase a unique brand of surreal slapstick and verbal dexterity. While Zeppo offered a more traditional foil in early works, the core trio's unbridled genius created a legacy of laughter that continues to resonate, cementing their status as pioneers of madcap cinema. less
